Following the success of 'Haywire', Arcade Players
have chosen Ray Cooney's classic farce 'RUN FOR YOUR WIFE' as their next
production.
“Run For Your Wife”
John Smith is a London
cabbie, with his own taxi. He also has two wives, unknown to each
other. One lives in Streatham and the other in Wimbledon. He
also has a very precise schedule, which is severely disrupted when he is
involved in a "mugging". John's attempts to resolve the situation
are hampered by his interfering neighbour, a flamboyant dress designer
and two suspicious police officers. This perfect example of
British farce was Ray Cooney's longest running West End success - nearly
nine years.
