Our next production is a heartwarming and hilarious journey: Ladies Down Under, the hit sequel to Ladies’ Day! Join Pearl, Jan, Shelley, and Linda as they swap fish fillets for first-class tickets and jet off to Australia after their big win at the races.

What starts as the trip of a lifetime quickly becomes a rollercoaster of adventure, friendship, and self-discovery. From the bright lights of Sydney to the dusty outback, the ladies find that life—and love—can be just as unpredictable as the horses they once bet on. Expect laughter, tears, and plenty of Northern grit as they navigate new beginnings in the land of sun, surf, and surprises.

Packed with humour, heart, and that unmistakable Yorkshire spirit, Ladies Down Under is a feel-good comedy that celebrates friendship, resilience, and finding yourself when you least expect it. Join us at the Duchess Theatre, Long Eaton, from 11th–14th February 2026 for a girls’ trip you’ll never forget.

Arcade Players welcomes new members to our amateur dramatics society. We are a supportive and friendly group who are always on the lookout for those who enjoy being either onstage or backstage.

I joined Arcade in May 2019 to fill the ensemble cast for Cheshire Cats and was welcomed with open arms as the youngest member in years. Over the past six years I’ve been in seven shows (going on eight) and learned so much about comedy roles, straight roles, Shakespeare and become a master of quick changes showing off my singing skills along the way too! I love the Arcade family dearly and wouldn’t trade those years for anything.
